This is exactly the type of book I've been looking for. It covers everything in a no nonsense and demystifying way. The fantastic illustrations and before and after pictures show you exactly how to get the shots you need. This book is wonderful and it can be applied to any level of enthusiast. It even fits in my camera bag!!! This is a book that has been written by a true professional and it shows on every page - Fantastic

What I really like about this book is the good organisation of topics, clear diagrams and concise instructions. The good and bad examples of photos really helped me to see what they did wrong before and the small reference book size which made it easy to carry around.

Finally an instruction book that is fun and yet is written by a photographic expert who obviously knows what they are doing. The mysteries of digital photography are properly explained for people like me who are not experts, although I suspect even the experts would get value out of this book. If you use a digital camera for work or for play, then you should be pleased with "Gadget Scientist".

What I so love about this book is that it has obviously been designed with the reader in mind every step of the way. It has easy to follow advice and contains clear instructions and excellent dialogue. Highly recommended!
